We have been certified as an organic farm by the Soil Association and this means
that we use no artificial chemical fertilizers or pesticides, foodstuffs are
natural, prohibiting the use of G.M. Material and animal health is maintained by
management and should medicines be required, an extended withdrawal period is
observed. All of the animals are nurtured to the highest standards throughout
their lives and during the summer graze on luxuriant grass, and in winter are
transferred to the comfort of straw bedded byres. We passionately believe that
contented animals produce tender, succulent and quality meat and with this in
mind we only use EU approved cutting plants and a local organic registered
abattoir. |
